Today, we are going to be looking at a few main parts of this “first draft” of the new site.
** In a few of the paragraph sections, you will see a random assortment of words that don’t make sense. This is what is called “dummy text” and is used when we don’t yet have a the proper text to display.
Mike went with white as the primary background color with the hopes this will help keep the site looking simple and clean.
The primary font is an attempt to mimic the font of your logo, which gives the main titles of the site a bit of a playful, hand crafted look.
We are leaning on Koranda’s photos to showcase this site, and I think it works. At the same time, I do not feel like other non-Koranda photos seem out of place. Let Mike know what you think.
Newly created pages will employ the same graphic elements, photo types, decorative borders, box shadows, etc of the pages that you are about to view.
Whew! As much as he doesn’t want to admit it, this has been mighty challenging for Mike. But, we have learned so much about blog structuring, organization and filtering. Play around with this a bit, knowing that it there is a lot of work left to make these parts of the website feel “whole”.
* I tried to show this part of the site in as complete a fashion as possible so that you get an idea of how I have it organized. I didn’t want to put too much work into adding too much content until we all agree with the look and structure. If you are feeling confused about any of these pages, I am happy to start an email or phone conversation regarding changes to these parts of the site.
When you are ready, click your logo in the top left corner of the header of any of the pages that you are on (except this one – for this one you’ll have to click on my nose). This will bring up a popup questionnaire. At any point if you would rather chat on the phone, over email or zoom, just let us know!
